Aconteceu esta noite em Los Angeles mais uma edição dos Emmy Awards, a 65ª. Apresentada, como sempre com mestria, por Neil Patrick Harris, foi uma cerimónia mais fluída do que é usual e sem momentos mortos (tirando talvez a canção de Elton John, que finalmente teve piada na introdução). O inicio foi estranho mas original, com Harris a guardar o número musical para o meio do espectáculo. Genial foi o número que antecedeu o prémio para melhor coreografia. Nas homenagens a quem desapareceu este ano, a de Edie Falco a James Gandolfini foi a mais emotiva.
